Blogging has become one of the largest forums in news, reviews and critiques. Especially in the fashion industry. We love seeing Dagmar being written about and shown throughout these different blogs, from all types of people, and from all sorts of countries. It’s fantastic!
However, recently we discovered a completely new concept of blogging which we are super proud to be a part of – an illustrative blog by Maria Andersson.
The superstar of the blog Lady Thirty (pictured below) wears Susanne knitted dress by Dagmar!
Let’s Talk HIV is a Swedish organisation dedicated to both fund-raising and spreading awareness of HIV Aids throughout Sweden. Started in 2009 by Åsa Hultman, the organisation is run in conjunction with Noah’s Ark who have been fighting the spread of HIV since 1986 through information, fund-raising, support and education.
You can help, here’s how: Visit the website Let’s Talk HIV and read about their three-step campaign against HIV (in Swedish).
House of Dagmar is lending their support, amongst other designers, by donating procedes from all Olga organic shopping bags sold (you will even receive a free condom!) Read more about it in ELLE Sweden here.
House of Dagmar is lucky enough to feature in ELLE magazine’s UK edition two months running, and for this we are mighty proud!

Also, ELLE’s in-house blogger MADEMOISELLE has been writing some nice words about us (even if she does think we’re Danish!!!).
She writes: “My favourite designer is Dagmar. Comprising of three sisters, each one aged a different decade; Kristina, Karine and Sofia are aged 40 something, thirty something and twenty something. Could this be the key to their uniquely universal style? There are skinny jeans with side zips, cardigans made from the finest Merino wool, silk dresses cut to be worn over leather riding leggings, it’s Punk from a Chanel perspective.”
“…I’ll start with these merino boucle jackets by Dagmar, seen at the A/W 10-11 show this morning… with a clearer image from their lookbook. I WANT. I NEED. So therefore, obviously, clearly, you all must WANT AND NEED too… off you go, my merry lambs to find these Dagmar jackets.”
At Nordiska Designers this Thursday till Sunday (18th – 21st Feb) it’s Dagmar Days!
Come visit us at the NK department store in Stockholm. There will be House of Dagmar representatives on location and every item bought will be accompanied by a free Dagmar Olga organic shopping bag!
